Rosta is the sector-agnostic shift-fill platform that turns last-minute workforce chaos into a solved problem. Any industry. Any shift. Any time.
Every day, thousands of operators scramble to fill empty shifts: group chats, phone trees, favours called in. The process is slow, stressful, and expensive.
Workers lose income because they never hear about open shifts in time. Operators lose revenue because they can't reach the right people fast enough. Both problems are the same problem: coordination.
When a shift opens, Rosta's broadcast engine automatically reaches qualified workers in order of reliability. The right person accepts. The shift is filled. No group chats. No phone calls.
Workforce management software is a $120 billion global category. Casual, shift-based, and contingent labour — the specific segment Rosta targets — is the fastest-growing and least-served corner of that market.
Rosta's core IP is the combination of intelligent broadcast and longitudinal reliability scoring. Together they create a network effect: as more organisations use the platform, worker scores become more trusted, and fill rates improve for everyone.
Workers see their tier. Managers see the score. Employees are never ranked against each other publicly.
Launched in private beta 14 months ago, expanded to open access 9 months ago. Growth has been word-of-mouth; we have not run paid acquisition.
Organisations pay a predictable monthly seat licence. We also earn a small per-shift transaction fee when a shift is filled through the platform. Both streams grow as usage grows.
Our founding team comes from security operations, where 24/7 shift coverage is not optional and workforce coordination failures have real consequences. We built Rosta because we needed it and it did not exist.
Built her career in cybersecurity operations across Commonwealth Bank, Thales, and CitiPower's critical infrastructure team. Earlier roles in NSW Police Force communications and AV events put her squarely inside shift-based workforces for years. The coordination problem was always there. Now she's fixing it.
Led security operations at every level: SOC Manager and Director of CTI and R&D at Tesserent, Head of DFIR at ctrl:cyber, and founder of his own practice. Managing 24/7 international SOC teams made the workforce coordination problem concrete. He builds the infrastructure to solve it.
We are raising a $2.5 million seed round at a $12M post-money valuation. Pre-seed of $500K (angels) has already been deployed and drove the traction shown. This round funds the next 18 months of focused growth.
A world where no shift goes unfilled and no reliable worker misses an opportunity. Rosta is the infrastructure layer for how flexible work gets done.
